Selah. Poor thing. She is just so darn easy going that she never tells us anything is wrong. Her last ear infection wouldn't have been caught except for a scheduled check-up. This time I kept thinking her slight fussiness was teething. I told everyone that.
"She seems a little unsettled, a little fussy, but it's just teething".
I said that to my small group at 10am. At 2:30 I decided to call the doctors' office. At 5:00 we were at an afterhours appointment.
Selah had a double ear infection, a double eye infection, diaper rash, her first 2 teeth coming through, and... a temperature of 104! I am going to need her to speak up if she wants to communicate that she really doesn't feel well.
