Our friends the Landrys are visiting for a couple days this week. They have never been to DC before, and I think they are going to be huge fans. Roman and I went into the city with them Wednesday. It is always so refreshing to see the monuments and other sites with new eyes.
A few days ago Roman started talking about giants. To clarify, when Roman talks about anything he just says the same word over and over again, and sometimes he adds other nouns that are somehow connected in his mind. The other day it was giants. We think he got it from a Jack and the Beanstalk video that he enjoys, but we're not sure. He hasn't watched that one in quite awhile.
When you ask Roman what a giant says he responds,"Fo fum."
When we arrived at the National Mall on Wednesday Roman became obsessed with the Washington Monument. The Giant. He pointed at it and said Giant approximately 47 times in an hour and a half period. Now, when he hears anyone mention Washington he runs up to say the word Giant again.
I love the connections that he makes.
The Landrys (Landries?) were there for Glenn Beckapalooza, right?
