Where have I been?

I find myself asking this a lot lately, in my friendships, with my family, the house work, this blog. Welcoming Silas has been a joyful time for our family. I have really rested in the last month, but I also have more energy to notice the rest of the world. I think pregnancy is like walking around wrapped in cotton batting. I feel muffled. I don't connect well with those around me, and I don't engage unless it is all together necessary. I love not being pregnant! Welcome Silas, we are so glad that you are out not in!
