Thankful...

I am very thankful for my children. I have been really frustrated with parenting them, but I love who they are. It is interesting watching them fluctuate minute by minute between selfishness and deep empathy for one another. They can be mean to one another... Roman speeding his cars into Selah's ankles or Selah biting Roman on the back, but I have noticed that they both seem motivated by curiosity. They seem to be questioning what the other will do and hoping for a big reaction. Yet when the other is hurting or upset they are both genuinely concerned and motivated to comfort the injured sibling. I am excited about their developing friendship.
